The Department of Computer Science seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and/or Professor rank to begin in Fall 2026.
Job duties include conducting research that results in refereed publications and external funding, teaching effectively at the graduate and undergraduate levels, supervising student research, and serving at the department, college, university, and professional levels.
Position is subject to availability of funds.
Required Qualifications (Assistant Professor):
An earned doctorate in Computer Science or a closely related field prior to employment.
Evidence of or potential for research excellence in Machine Learning, Data Science and/or Artificial Intelligence. Recent publications will be emphasized, but all publications will be considered.
Evidence of or potential to obtain external funding
Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring students.
An ability to contribute to the departmental mission.
Required Qualifications (Associate Professor):
An earned doctorate in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Evidence of research excellence in Machine Learning, Data Science, and/or Artificial Intelligence. Recent publications will be emphasized, but all publications will be considered.
Evidence of having obtained research grants.
Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring students.
Ability to contribute to the mission of the department.

Evidence of a sustained record of research excellence in Data Science, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence. Recent publications will be emphasized, but all publications will be considered.
