We are currently seeking a Summer Intern to help develop a preventative maintenance program and update the Health & Safety program. Responsibilities: Assist in the development of a preventative maintenance program for manufacturing equipment Help update the Health & Safety program by reviewing policies and procedures and recommending improvements Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and make recommendations for corrective actions Assist with the implementation of new safety initiatives Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations Participate in safety training sessions and provide input on new training programs This is a great opportunity for a motivated student who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance and health & safety programs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and make a real impact on our operations.   Requirements: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a related field (e.g. Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus Ability to speak Spanish is a plus To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter explaining why you are interested in this position and how your skills and experience make you a strong candidate.
