National Taiwan University (NTU) invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position in the Institute of Industrial Engineering. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Operations Management, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field. The Institute will consider applicants from all research areas, including advanced manufacturing, analytics and machine learning, applied probability and simulation, data science and statistics, economic decision analysis, energy and sustainable systems, health and humanitarian systems, optimization, supply chain engineering, and system informatics and control. The earliest expected start date is August 1, 2023 or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

The Institute of Industrial Engineering at National Taiwan University was established in 1994. We offer both MS and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering. The Institute’s engineering research strength is integrated with its education programs at master’s and doctoral levels. The graduates of our programs are trained as engineers and future leaders in technology, policy, and industry. The major research areas of the institute include Supply Chain Management and Engineering, Data Systems and Analysis, Intelligent Decision Making, Technology Management, and Operations Research.
