Utility New Holstein Utilities (NHU) is a municipally-owned and operated electric, water, water softening, and sanitary sewer utility serving approximately 2,700 customer in the City of New Holstein (WI) and five surrounding townships.  The utility strives to provide economically priced, reliable, and environmentally friendly services and programs.  New Holstein is located in northeast Wisconsin 40 miles south of Green Bay and 70 miles north of Milwaukee. New Holstein Utilities was founded in 1912 by a favorable vote of the community's residents.  Electric service was provided later that year.  Today, NHU has 166 miles of electric distribution system in its service territory.
