PURPOSE OF POSITION The Senior Railroad Civil Engineer works closely with staff, consultants, and contractors to perform project engineering and management. This position also works with staff on a variety of projects including plan reviews, preparation of applications for environmental reviews, support scope agreements with local agencies, railroads and third parties involving public works construction, new track and signal system infrastructure, station design, grade crossings, separations, and utilities to ensure compliance with railroad engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
