Based in Arizona, JE Fuller is a client-focused firm of industry leading experts with exceptional qualifications and unparalleled experience in a variety of interrelated sub-disciplines, including hydrology and hydraulics, engineering design, flood threat recognition systems, dam safety, applied fluvial geomorphology, planning studies, regulation and policy, and other specialized services.
Minimum qualifications include a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, or a related field and eight or more years of experience working in the field of surface water hydrology, hydraulics, drainage analysis and design. Additional qualifications include Professional Registration as an Engineer or Geologist in one or more of the aforementioned States. Candidates should have a level of proficiency using surface-water modeling software programs such as: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D & 2D), and/or FLO-2D and have strong technical writing skills. Other desired software skills include AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation, GIS (QGIS, ArcMap or ArcPro), and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Programming proficiency is considered a bonus. Candidates will be expected to have good interpersonal communication skills, and a track record of successfully interacting directly with their clients and serving as a liaison between their clients and reviewing agencies. Candidates applying for the position should have the ability to independently identify, evaluate and provide uniquely suited water-resources solutions. All candidates will need to possess a strong sense of self-initiative, be willing to work alone or as part of a team and understand that they will be called upon to work on every phase of a project including proposal writing, project initiation, execution and closeout. Ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and is looking for an opportunity to work on challenging and exciting projects with the freedom to develop clientele in established markets or in related niche service areas.
